VoiceOver
Every control, recording, mood, and insight is labeled for VoiceOver, with hints where an action needs one. Decorative elements (like the waveform animation) are hidden from the screen reader, so it reads only what matters. Recording, playback, tagging a mood, browsing your archive, and locking an entry are all fully operable without sight.
Dynamic Type & large text
Ramble respects your system text size, all the way up to the largest Accessibility sizes. Text scales, layouts reflow instead of clipping, and controls grow with the type. Where a single line can't hold the largest sizes, the content wraps rather than truncating, so you never lose words.
Increase Contrast
When you turn on Increase Contrast in iOS, Ramble boosts its palette to match: text and interactive controls are tuned to meet WCAG AA contrast against the surface they actually sit on, not just against white. The warm, soft look stays; it gets firmer and easier to read.
Reduce Motion
With Reduce Motion on, animation settles to calm. The waveform stops breathing, transitions become simple fades or none at all, and nothing pulses, slides, or auto-plays. The app is fully usable either way.
Reduce Transparency
Ramble honors Reduce Transparency. Blurred, translucent surfaces fall back to solid, readable backgrounds chosen so text keeps its contrast.
