Delete your data

Everything is yours, and it lives with you.

There is no account to delete

Ramble has no account and no server, so there's nothing on our side to erase: your recordings, transcripts, and notes live only on your device, and your backups live only where you put them. Here's how to remove all of it, whenever you want.

1. Delete a single entry

Swipe an entry in your archive, or open it and choose Delete. Deleted entries move to Recently Deleted for a short grace period; empty that to remove them for good.

2. Remove everything from your device

Deleting the Ramble app from your iPhone removes all of its on-device data with it: every recording, transcript, mood, and note. Touch and hold the Ramble icon on your Home Screen, choose Remove App → Delete App, and confirm.

3. Delete your backups (important)

If you turned on backups, those files are not stored inside the app. They're saved in the folder you chose, in your own iCloud Drive or On My iPhone. Deleting the app does not remove them. You delete them yourself, in Apple's Files app:

Open Files → Browse.
Go to iCloud Drive (or On My iPhone) and open the folder where you saved your Ramble backups.
Delete the backup files (they end in .ramblebackup / .zip).
Open Recently Deleted in Files and empty it, so the backups are gone from iCloud too.

Because your backup can be protected with a passphrase only you know, no one, including us, can open it. Deleting the file in Files removes it completely.

What "delete" does and doesn't mean here

There's no "account deletion" step because there is no account and no data on our servers to delete. Removing the entries, the app, and your backup files as above erases your Ramble data completely. Questions? Email help@talkramble.com.

Silinecek bir hesap yok

Ramble'ın hesabı ve sunucusu yok, yani bizim tarafımızda silinecek hiçbir şey yok: kayıtların, transkriptlerin ve notların yalnızca cihazında, yedeklerin ise yalnızca koyduğun yerde durur. İstediğin an hepsini nasıl kaldıracağın aşağıda.

1. Tek bir kaydı sil

Arşivde bir kaydı kaydır ya da açıp Sil'i seç. Silinen kayıtlar kısa bir süre Yakında Silinenler'e taşınır; kalıcı kaldırmak için onu boşalt.

2. Her şeyi cihazından kaldır

Ramble uygulamasını iPhone'undan silmek, cihazdaki tüm verisini de birlikte kaldırır: her kayıt, transkript, mood ve not. Ana Ekran'da Ramble simgesine basılı tut, Uygulamayı Kaldır → Uygulamayı Sil'i seç ve onayla.

3. Yedeklerini sil (önemli)

Yedeği açtıysan o dosyalar uygulamanın içinde saklanmaz. Seçtiğin klasörde, kendi iCloud Drive'ında ya da iPhone'umda kaydedilir. Uygulamayı silmek onları kaldırmaz. Onları Apple'ın Dosyalar (Files) uygulamasından kendin silersin:

Dosyalar → Göz At'ı aç.
iCloud Drive'a (ya da iPhone'umda'ya) git ve Ramble yedeklerini kaydettiğin klasörü aç.
Yedek dosyalarını sil (.ramblebackup / .zip ile biter).
Dosyalar'daki Yakında Silinenler'i aç ve boşalt; böylece yedekler iCloud'dan da gider.

Yedeğin yalnızca senin bildiğin bir parolayla korunabildiği için onu hiç kimse, biz dâhil, açamaz. Dosyalar'dan dosyayı silmek onu tamamen kaldırır.

Burada "silme" ne demek, ne değil

"Hesap silme" adımı yok, çünkü ne bir hesap ne de sunucularımızda silinecek bir veri var. Kayıtları, uygulamayı ve yedek dosyalarını yukarıdaki gibi kaldırmak Ramble verini tamamen siler. Sorular için: help@talkramble.com.
